Tony, Renae & Baby J - {Family} - Sneak Peek!

This adorable family met up with me for their session on the same chilly morning as this sweet family. And they brought their furry baby along to be in the photos too! Baby J pretended to be shy at first, but opened up after just a short while & showed off his darling little dimples. Even though he wasn't too keen on being still for the photos, his mommy & daddy handled it with grace and we still got some fabulous photos of them! And of course the Cheerios made everything all better. ;)

Adam, Anne & Family - {Family} - Sneak Peek!

This past weekend, I met up with this gorgeous family for their session. Even with a very chilly breeze and an early session time, they were super easy going! It was great getting to know a little more about them as the session went along. These two sisters are absolutely stunning! And to top it off, they are also really sweet & great to be around. Anne and Adam were very laid back and open to anything I suggested. They are most definitely clients I love being around. :)

Emma, Kate, Cooper & Wyatt - {Family} - Sneak Peek!

 Earlier this month, I met up with this adorable family for their session. I nearly died when I saw just how cute their outfits were! While I was talking to their mom, she mentioned she had found all of the outfits the day before within 15 minutes all at one store. Talk about some good finds!! They looked absolutely adorable in their coordinating outfits! All that was missing was mommy & daddy in the photos. ;)

All four of the kids had very distinct personalities and weren't shy about showing them! They definitely kept me on my toes and made for a very enjoyable time.

Bob & Jen - {Wedding Reception} - Sneak Peek!

When Bob & Jen contacted me awhile back and asked if I would photograph their wedding reception/dinner, I was thrilled! After meeting with them face to face, I was even more excited that I got to be a small part of their celebration. It is so obvious that they are head over heels in love with each other! They were married at the courthouse this year in June, but still wanted to have time to celebrate with friends & family. They hosted a wonderful dinner at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse and had family come in from all over the US. 

Before the dinner, we took the time to get some of the common formal poses you would see from a wedding day with all of their families. The dinner looked amazing and from all of the conversations I heard - everyone enjoyed it. Jen actually came over to me during the dinner just to see if I needed water or anything. And this was supposed to be all about them!! Such genuinely kind people. :)

There were cakes on each table that THEY made for their guests. And not just any ol' cake. Each cake had different flavors AND if you are a musician - you will notice the notes aren't just random. They took the time on each cake to transcribe different songs (the Bridal Chorus is the one shown) since Jen is a musician!

Holiday Traditions - {Giveaway}

Since the holidays are quickly approaching, I thought it would be a great time for a giveaway! And for this giveaway, I want to know more about YOU! I love traditions and think it is so important to pass things on to future generations. Some traditions are silly while others are very meaningful. Whatever they may be, they are important for each family! 

I remember every year since I was a little kid, my family would gather around to say a prayer before we dug in to our Thanksgiving feast. As soon as the prayer ended, my great-grandfather would loudly exclaim "Give me a chicken leg!". As silly as that was, once he passed away - someone else in the family *always* says it. It wouldn't be Thanksgiving with my family if someone didn't say that!  

One of my new favorite traditions is taking photos of my sweet boy in ridiculous outfits.

This was last years and I. Love. It.

Sarah - {Toddler Session} - Sneak Peek!

Sarah is a sweet little girl! It's always interesting for me to see the differences in babies & kids when they are at different stages developmentally. When I asked Sarah's mommy if she could walk, she laughed and quickly said "Oh yes... She RUNS!". And she wasn't kidding. Hah! Sarah was so busy during the session and kept me running all over the place. Definitely a fun way to start out my busy Saturday!

I was amazed with Sarah's ability to converse non-verbally. I am all about the baby sign language, so it's always exciting to see someone else who does it even more than I did! Here are just a few of my favorites of this beautiful little girl! Check out her gorgeous baby blues!

As she was getting a new pair of shoes on, she was cracking up at her mommy.

Austin, TX - {Fall/Holiday Mini-Sessions}

Can you believe it is NOVEMBER?!?

That is just crazy for me to even wrap my head around. It seems like it was July last week and now we are headed full steam ahead right into the holiday season. If you are in the Dallas area & haven't booked your mini-session yet, don't delay! There are only a few spots left!

After seeing if there was interest in the area, I have opened up a morning of mini-sessions in the Austin, TX area. This will be the LAST time I am in that area this year. If you want to book a regular session or mini-session with me, please contact me ASAP as spots fill up very quickly. Sessions are available on Saturday or Sunday, November 19th & 20th. The mini-sessions will be held the morning of the 20th. This is prime time to get photos done for the holidays!

The specific location of the mini-sessions will be in the north Austin/Round Rock vicinity. After booking your mini-session, you will receive information on the exact location. These are offered every half hour beginning at 8am and go until noon. Some of the time slots are already booked, so as I said before - don't wait to book! Feel free to pass this along to friends/family/co-workers. And don't forget: If you refer someone who books & completes a session, you get a $25 print credit!
