*CLOSED* It's Time for a Giveaway!!

***This contest is now closed! Thanks for all of the wonderful entries! Debbie Edwards was randomly chosen as the winner & won a photo session for her daughter!***

Do you have the best mom ever? Are you the best mom ever? Maybe your wife is the best mom ever? Or your sister, cousin, grandma, or maybe your best friend? I want to know who you think is the best mom or mommy-to-be and why!

With Mother's Day being about a month away, I thought it would be the perfect time to do a giveaway! After all, moms always love portraits of their kids (young & old!). To celebrate, I am going to give one lucky winner a FREE one hour session. But that's not all! I am going to include a DVD with 10 images of your choice from the session! As always, a private online proof gallery is included as well as the option to purchase professional prints. Just think, you could give your mom fantastic new photos of you for Mother's Day. Or you could even treat her to a photo session by giving the session to her!

This giveaway is not limited to the DFW area. I will be doing sessions this summer in Carlsbad, NM, Little Rock, AR and Austin/San Antonio, TX (specific dates not set yet). So spread the word!

You're probably wondering what you have to do to win this prize - and I have made it easy for you!

  1. My mom is the best ever. In her 33 years as a mom, she has raised 3 kids while being a Navy wife and having a daughter with a disability. She was able to teach us respect and pride as well as how to deal with adversity.

  2. My grandmother is the best mom ever. She raised 5 children, who are now all grown with kids of their own who are now having kids. She is strong, courageous, and such a great role model. If you needed anything, she would give you anything you needed including the shirt off of her back. She is now in her late 80s & I would love to be able to honor her with a photo session with all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren. It would mean the world to have her legacy live on through beautiful photos!

  4. You know that I think you are the best mom ever and doing a great job raising my grandson in addition to being a fabulous photographer. I know you won't photograph yourself, so I will have to nominate my equally wonderful daughter-in-law. Kelley is doing a fantastic job raising my other grandson. She is very strong and courageous in taking care of him while pregnant with my granddaughter and alone while her husband is deployed serving our country. Kelley Hefner would be so excited to win one of your fabulous shoots.

  6. My sister, Carey Haught, is the best mom ever. She has always wanted to be a mom. She waited a long time to get what she has always wanted. She had a baby with complications and went through struggles and hard times. She quit her professional job after many years (and a large salary) to be a stay at home mom. She truly sacrificed everything to raise her son the right way.

  7. My mom is the best mom. She takes good care of me and always has. I am now 40 years old & she's always been there for me. No matter what struggles & ordeals I've been through I know she is the first person I can call on. She is always there with unconditional love. I am so lucky to have such a great mom!

  8. I think I will nominate myself! I would love mommy and me photos and I think I deserve them :) My entire life is devoted to making Lydia's days fun, educational, healthy, and creative. She has made all of my dreams come true and my goal is to be the best parent I can be throughout her life.

  9. I would like to nominate my wife, Lanise. She is the mother of our two grown children, but her love doesn't stop there. She has taken care of many children through the years. She gives love and direction to all of those who come into her care, but I think an extra measure of love goes to her two grandsons.

  11. My wife is the best mom ever. She has raised two beautiful daughters and our son. They are all grown now and the girls have families of their own. I would love for her to win a photo session with you and be able to include all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well.

  13. My mom is the best mom ever! She has always reflected Christ's love in her actions and words. She has helped me get through some tough times and has never given up on me. She has also modeled how to be a strong military wife. Because of her, I feel like I can face these deployments knowing that she is behind me 110%. Now that I am a mother, as well, I look to her for strength and guidance to be the very best mom I can be. Our relationship is more than just mother and daughter. She is one of my very best friends! I love you, Mom! <3

  15. I nominate my daughter, Haleigh Edwards. She has only been a mom for 8 months now, but she is doing an amazing job being Mommy to her precious Zoey. She has already faced many adversities and handled them with strength and honor...mixed with tears and laughter to get her through the days, and at this age, the nights!

  16. I almost missed the deadline to enter your contest, but I would like to nominate the love of my life and the mother of my son, Kelley Hefner. Kelley is such an awesome mother and because of my current deployment, she is having to do it all by herself while she is pregnant with our daughter. Kelley gives our son so much love. I know this would be a wonderful mothers day gift for her.
